How we calculate
We work out the area of each wall (width × height) and add 10% for trimming at the edges and around windows or outlets, and so the pattern lines up naturally. That is divided by the panel size (0.25 m² for 500 × 500 mm panels, 1 m² for 1000 × 1000 mm panels) and rounded up to whole panels.
Panels snap together with the interlocking edges. On wood or drywall, staple the base mesh to the wall (a staple in each corner and roughly every 250 mm), or use screws or nails with large washers into the studs. On brick, stone or concrete, drill and plug every 250 mm and fix with screws and washers.
